In 2018, I had no idea what UX was.. I just knew I liked late-night drives. When I moved from Abu Dhabi to Cairo, the first thing I did was get my driver’s license. In Abu Dhabi, it was a dream, I took my test, got a message, tapped a few buttons on an app, and my license was delivered to my doorstep. In Egypt… well, let’s just say it involved a full day off, and long lines, and a lot of frustration.

That’s when I started asking questions. Who designs these experiences? How do they work? and why do some just click while others feel so complicated? That curiosity led me to UX, and I’ve been passionate about creating products that make people’s lives easier ever since.
